stinging-nettle-tea-for-eczema-and-psoriasis

I've mentioned that I added Stinging Nettle Tea into my psoriasis and eczema healing protocol. Here's what lead me to include it in my protocol.

Stinging nettle tea is recommended for eczema because it possesses powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. Furthermore, it is beneficial because it improves lymphatic flow, aiding the body's internal systems.

  • Some clinical trials with nettles extracts (not just tea) show reduced inflammatory markers and improved antioxidant enzyme activity in people with inflammatory bowel disorders.
  • Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant: Research shows nettle extracts contain polyphenols and other compounds that can reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory signals in cell and animal models, and possibly in humans too. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9413031

Eczema & psoriasis are inflammatory skin conditions with immune involvement. Hot tea before bed can be calming, so it seems like an ideal combination to choose a tea that might help in other ways.

I bought 1lb of organic nettle loose tea.
